We Have Time

We’ve got time.

What a lovely and gentle reminder that yes, we have time. How reassuring to others to know that you want to be around them for a while longer. And even though we’re not promised anything— it is a perspective shift to think you have time. To mindfully engage with the world around you.

The past few months have been challenging for me. I spent the month of October taking care of my terminally ill grandma before I had to drive 8.5 long hours back to DC. I let one of my playlists go to shuffle/radio after it ended. You know when you come across a song at the exact right time? Well, this was it. The whole song is beautiful, but one lyric I especially love is:

“Mama, well, she told me time is such a wonderful gift

You're not running out

You're really running in”

-You Can’t Rush Your Healing by Trevor Hall

And so, as I continue to offer more and more to y’all this year, I wanted to share how grateful I am that we have time together. In the next few weeks, I’ll be updating my yoga and meditation class schedules and adding more “on demand” videos.
